LMUD SIGNS POWER CONTRACT THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2005

Rates are stabilized, but LMUD's spending spirals on travel, association memberships, redundant legal research, huge legal fees from Frank Cady and Jaimee Richey and useless studies that cost ratepayers millions of dollars annually.  LMUD now cannot pay their bills but refuses to alter spending.

2003/2004 Audit shows LMUD's exposure to gifts of public funds under Twitchell's management.

LMUD General Manager Twitchell gives notice of  leaving LMUD to get married. She is not entitled to any further compensation, according to her contract.

LMUD suddenly gives Twitchell a $136,000 settlement to leave. LMUD claims that the settlement will avoid expensive litigation that Twitchell threatens to file against the LMUD Board.
